Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1/1/25
Applies to: All inquiries submitted via https://www.moonriseav.com or through direct communication for equipment delivery and transport services.
 

1. Scope of Services

Moonrise Audio Visual (“Moonrise AV”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides professional delivery, shipping, and transport services for audiovisual equipment and client-owned goods. Services include vehicle dispatch, crew, and optional loading/unloading, subject to availability and confirmation. These Terms govern all transport-related engagements.
 

2. Request Process & Service Confirmation

Requests for transport must be submitted through the Request for Service form or by direct contact with Moonrise AV. Submission of a request does not constitute a confirmed booking.

Upon acceptance, Moonrise AV will provide a Service Confirmation outlining:

  • Scheduled pickup and delivery dates

  • Vehicle type

  • Crew or loading requirements

  • Pricing, mileage, and any surcharges

  • Payment terms

Service begins only after written confirmation and agreement.

3. Audio Visual Equipment Delivery 2025 Rate Sheet
Customer is responsible for all tax, tolls, and incidental charges incurred during delivery. Large loads may be subject to additional labor charges. Overnight & weekend storage available for additional fee.

 

Sprinter Van w/ LiftGate (Up to 3,000 lbs)

M–F 8am–6pm
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $150
• Additional Miles: $3 per mile
• Wait Time: $15 per 15 minutes (First 15 minutes free)
• Loading Time: $75 per hour (Pickup/Delivery Off Dock)

Evening / Weekend
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $175
• Additional Miles: $4 per mile
• Wait Time: $20 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $85 per hour

Same Day Service
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $250
• Additional Miles: $5 per mile
• Wait Time: $25 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $100 per hour

 

14' Box Truck w/ LiftGate (Up to 7,000 lbs)

M–F 8am–6pm
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $200
• Additional Miles: $4 per mile
• Wait Time: $15 per 15 minutes (First 15 minutes free)
• Loading Time: $75 per hour

Evening / Weekend
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $250
• Additional Miles: $5 per mile
• Wait Time: $20 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $85 per hour

Same Day Service
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $375
• Additional Miles: $6 per mile
• Wait Time: $25 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $100 per hour

M–F 8am–6pm
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $500
• Additional Miles: $5 per mile
• Wait Time: $15 per 15 minutes (First 15 minutes free)
• Loading Time: $75 per hour

Evening / Weekend
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $650
• Additional Miles: $6 per mile
• Wait Time: $20 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $85 per hour

Same Day Service
• Base Rate (Up to 10 miles): $750
• Additional Miles: $7 per mile
• Wait Time: $25 per 15 minutes
• Loading Time: $100 per hour

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate and complete pickup/delivery addresses and site instructions.

  • Ensure items are properly packed and labeled (unless packing service is included).

  • Make pickup and delivery locations accessible for the designated vehicle size.

  • Declare any fragile, oversized, or hazardous materials prior to transport.

Moonrise AV reserves the right to decline service for any unsafe, improperly packaged, or unapproved items.

5. Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance incur no charge.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on the minimum billable rate.

  • Rescheduling is permitted with 12+ hours notice and subject to availability.

 

6. Insurance & Liability

Moonrise AV carries commercial liability and auto insurance. However:

  • We are not liable for damages caused by client-provided inadequate packaging or handling.

  • Additional cargo insurance can be arranged upon request before service begins.

  • Claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with evidence.

 

7. Delays & Force Majeure

Moonrise AV is not responsible for delays or inability to perform due to:

  • Road closures, traffic, severe weather

  • Mechanical failure

  • Labor disputes or crew availability

  • Acts of God or third-party interference

We will notify clients promptly and seek alternative arrangements when possible.

 

8. Indemnity

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moonrise AV, its employees, agents, and affiliates for any claims arising from:

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Misrepresentation of transported goods

  • Use of our services in violation of law or safety protocols

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved via arbitration in Plymouth County, MA, unless otherwise agreed.
