Bringing together hundreds of team members to celebrate wins and gear up for the year ahead, Wolters Kluwer Health’s Sales Kick Off demanded an AV partner that could match its scale and energy. The multi-day February event was designed to bring teams together to celebrate 2024 successes, share impact stories, and align on goals to hit the ground running in 2025.
Spanning 19 unique spaces across the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate—including ballrooms, breakout rooms, pre-function areas, and office setups—the program required meticulous planning and seamless audiovisual execution. Wolters Kluwer turned to Moonrise AV to make it happen, and they tell us that the results raised the bar for what a great AV partnership looks like.

Designing and managing AV across 19 different rooms, each with distinct functions and schedules, required technical expertise, proactive planning, on-the-ground coordination, and a responsive team.
Moonrise AV worked closely with the Wolters Kluwer event team from the earliest stages of planning to identify the specific needs of each space, create a unified production strategy, and allocate resources efficiently across the property.

Girado explains that, for past events, internal stakeholders often felt the need to be deeply involved in AV execution to ensure everything stayed on track. But this year, thanks to Moonrise’s preparedness and professionalism, that dynamic changed.
"Our stakeholder said she felt so much more comfortable giving up that control to Moonrise as she could see during rehearsals that things were running very smoothly,” Girado says. “She rarely needed to be back in the AV table, which freed her up to focus on other aspects of the event. This was a huge win for us this year!”
Setting a new benchmark for AV success.
The smooth execution and strong collaboration didn’t go unnoticed. In fact, the AV experience at this year’s Sales Kick Off was so successful, it “raised the bar,” according to the Wolters Kluwer team.
"Our planning team said that this year’s AV experience with Moonrise was the precedent that we need to be striving for all events moving forward,” Girado says.
